what is your price range of your dresses?
our made-to-order gowns range from $500 - $4000 with the majority of our dresses pricing in the $2000 range.

do I need an appointment to try on dress at Ivory House?
an appointment is not required but is highly recommended as we can only guarantee our top-notch service when we know you are coming to see us!
what should I wear to my appointment?
while anything is acceptable, we recommend neutral undergarments with the expectation a bra will not be needed with every gown you try on. If you have shoes and/or accessories you plan to wear on your wedding day, bring them along to try on for the full visual!
what can I expect for the timeline of my dress shopping and ordering experience?
we recommend placing the order for your dress anywhere from 9-18 months prior to your wedding day. If you anticipate needing more than one appointment to make your decision, we'd like your first appointment to be 12+ months before the wedding. we can definitely work with any timeline, as our designers offer rush shipping and in-stock options. we also have a select number of samples available to purchase off-the-rack. once your dress is put into production with a deposit paid, you can expect it to arrive to ivory house in 15-20 weeks where you will then take it to your chosen seamstress for any necessary alterations.
how does sizing work at Ivory house?
our sample dresses range from size 8 to 20 and you can expect to be clipped into the samples you try on, whether they be big or small. we are able to show you as close to how the dress should look when you wear it for your big day. once you've chosen your gown, we will take measurements to order your gown based on the designer's size chart. alterations will be necessary on 90% of dresses as very few of us ladies match a size chart.
what is the policy on returns/cancelled orders?
bridal gowns are made-to-order and cannot be refunded once that process has started, which happens when your payment goes through. sample sale gowns are discounted making them a final sale product.
how many guests can I bring to my appointment?
we do not have a limit on how many guests you bring with you. we just ask that you let us know how many to expect so we can appropriately place you in a fitting room. we recommend bringing the people who will support you and give you confidence in your decision and no more.
what should I expect in the alterations process?
we will give you a recommendation for where to take your bridal gown for alterations in Amarillo or the surrounding areas. the average seamstress job costs $400-$500.
